FREEDOM BOwl
Our Freedom Bowls provide one of the best and most concise ways for you to study about the people, principles and events that led to the founding of America. You will learn how good governments function, and you might be able to identify some areas in which America can improve.
There are two sets of questions: The Liberty Bowl and the Constitution Bowl. The Liberty Bowl asks questions about the history leading up to the Constitution. It includes the Declaration of Independence and the principles that went in to that great document. The Constitution Bowl focuses entirely on the U.S. Constitution and goes Article by Article and Section by Section leaving nothing out.
It turns out these bowls are a great way to learn the information because they employ one of the oldest teaching methods ever invented–asking questions. This method of teaching is called a catechism, and it was used so extensively by the famous Greek philosopher, Socrates, that is it often referred to as the “Socratic method of teaching”–teaching by asking questions.
This manual is available FREE for you in digital format or if you want to order the printed manual it’s only $10! We hope you have a great journey learning about our founding era and the founding fathers and documents that have become part of our legacy!
Simulations
Simulations are events that let the participant become the historical people that actually experienced pivotal moments in our nations founding and development. Participants get booklets that they work through to complete the simulation. All information and videos are provided FREE but you can also purchase the preprinted booklets. Students love to become involved in what they are learning and simulations are a great way to accomplish that. Enjoy!
We have three main simulations:
- Milestones of Freedom which simulates immigrants coming through Ellis Island. Participants commit to becoming a True American by agreeing to all Milestones of Freedom, pass the citizenship test and take the Oath of Citizenship.
- I Declare Independence which simulates the Second Continental Congress where we got the Declaration of Independence. Participants become delegates to this convention and agree to all 10 Declarations of Freedom before becoming a Founding Patriot.
- Keepers of the Law which simulates the Constitutional Convention. Participants become delegates to this convention and agree to all 10 Constitutional Commitments before becoming a Founding Father.
You can do these simulations in your home, school or anywhere else because we provide you the manual and all of the videos participants need to watch. We also provide you the booklets you can print out to use for the event. It’s all FREE but you can purchase our pre-printed booklets if you would like.
Why do we do all of this for FREE? Why, to Make America Great Again of course!
